Integrating Christian faith and the practice of law

How can you be a lawyer and a Christian? Don't you have to lie, get criminals of the hook and find loopholes in contractual promises?

Although many of us avoid these things, we go headlong into the profession without really thinking about them too much.

Thanks to James Foster for recently putting into my hands a tremendous book by a Professor Michael Schutt called Redeeming Law: Christian Calling and the Legal Profession, IVP Acedemic, 2007.

I hope to summarise parts of the book over the next few weeks by posting here.
